Two best friends showed up to Cherry Trees in their best outfits over February half term, eager to get the day started. What began with a request for some Chinese food turned into a full-blown Girls Day Out for our long-time Cherry Trees goers and their carers.

Care Coordinator Paula D'Aoust masterminded the day, which began with a trip to the nail salon. Matching pink nails secured, the girls headed to Lush to learn about bath bombs, making the most of the experience by trying out their favourites. They each got to choose their favourite fizzy bomb before heading to Primark for a spot of shopping.

With a £20 allowance each, they got to choose their favourite pieces, trying on outfit after outfit. They eventually landed on super stylish matching outfits.

A trip for some comfort food helped to perk up the tired girls before heading to the cinema to watch the hit romcom, Marry Me. They managed to secure the perfect seats and nearly had the theatre all to themselves. Completely tired out, the girls returned to Cherry Trees to tell their friends all about their fabulous girly day.

The girls' favourite bit? Showing off the matching outfits to their parents the next day.

A huge thank you to Paula and Alex for making the day possible. We know they'll talk about this day for many years to come.
