Plantpassion based just outside of Guildford, Surrey is owned and run by Claire Brown, an experienced horticulturalist with over 20 years experience working with plants and flowers.

Her business is all about growing many varieties of plants, for cut flowers for the vase, in keeping with the seasons and times that will see them at their most vibrant, packed with natural scents. All of the plants are grown with great care on the chalky and warm Surrey Hills, harvested by hand and when ready, are used for individual weddings, floral gifts and supplied to florists.

In normal times, Claire is an experienced host of regular workshops and photography courses at the site of Plant Passion but is now adapting her usual course set-up to host an online tutorial via zoom which will let 'attendees' join her from within their own homes but still be able to ask questions and chat to her as she presents.

She’s going to give you some of her insights and expertise about how to propagate, plant and care for these plants that will provide you with pleasure over the next few months, and you can ask her all the questions you’d like to know about how to keep these and other summer flowers beautiful for months within your own garden.

Join Claire this Friday, 22nd May at 17:00 to learn about growing Dahlias in our social and fun zoom session that will inspire your own gardening across the bank holiday weekend and beyond.

Online donations made to Cherry Trees greatly welcomed either before or after the session.
