A brand new cycling challenge for you to join in with, this August (15th - 16th), which you can take part in, anywhere, at any time across the weekend and on any set of wheels!

With four race options to choose from ranging from a fun freecyle up to 100 miles, you can sign-up online to 'take part' and can also opt to fundraise at the same time, encouraging friends and family to support your cycle with donations.

Whilst there won't be a big race day event with thousands of people out on the 100 mile route that stretches from the Olympic Park London, to the Surrey Hills, organisers have instead chosen to mark the weekend with a re-versioned (and first) virtual cycle event: My Prudential RideLondon.

How to get involved:

Head to the website where you can register for the race distance you want to do.

Looking to fundraise?

The UK's charities need help and that includes us too as fundraising events, activities and sportifs take a hit thanks to the far reaching and devastating effects of the ongoing coronavirus. If you would like to be #cherryactive and cycle for us, after registering on the myridelondon website you can then create a Virgin Money Giving Fundraising page as the next step in the online process, nominating Cherry Trees as your charity to fundraise for.

Alternatively you can have your own 'challenge fundraiser' page here on our Cherry Trees website to direct your friends and family to, for donations. Head to 'set up your own page'

Did you know....

You can take part using any two wheeled moving contraption - so that's bikes, Bromptons, tandem, Boris bike, wheelchair, BMX, even rollerskates.

Why not go all out and do it in fancy dress? Red and green cherry themed? Cycle as your favourite pop or movie icon or how about a stick on wig referencing Olympic cycling legend Bradley Wiggins? Use the hashtag #MyPRL to share your images and also tag us too @cherrytreesuk
