The Surrey Hills Classic is a road cycling event that will test your power and strength in a series of hill challenges on some of the steepest inclines in Surrey.

Riders can pick between four distances, setting off from Cranleigh Showground with the challenge of uphill battles and the reward of downhill stretches to pick up momentum.

The route covers segments that made up the 2012 Olympic cycle and now riders of all abilities are encouraged to give it a go.

The Surrey Hills Classic is a third party event, organised by UKCE and has been confirmed to go ahead at the time of going to press.

Advance online entries are recommended to avoid disappointment. Riders under 12 cycle for free but must register with a paying adult.

Are you up for joining team Cherry?

Cherry Trees is looking to put together a team of riders to take part for us. No matter your experience, fitness or ability Team Cherry is keen to hear from you. Riders of all abilities are encouraged to enter.

You will need to pay the online entry fee on The Surrey Hills Classic website yourself and then complete a short Team Cherry form.

Entry fees are really reasonable and we ask for a fundraising target of just £100 per rider.

Why take part for Cherry Trees?

With the pandemic leading to the cancellation of many mass fundraising events and challenges over the last year, we now hope some of our supporters will want to come back out and help raise money for our fantastic charity which has kept going every single day.

A smaller scale 'event' and outdoors, it is planned to take place in keeping with the timed governmental lifting of current lockdown restrictions.

Riders who join Team Cherry are offered a one off special discount when paying their online entry fee, made available to us thanks to the generosity of the event organisers!

Contact Anna on the challenges desk today if you would like to join our team. Email: [email protected]

Event safety information: the organisers have planned the event with social distancing in mind. A copy of their COVID safety guidelines can be provided if required.
