Cherry Trees have earnt themselves another award, this time catching the eye of judges from The Good Web Guide 2018, garnering a ‘Highly Commended’ mark for our website.

Good design, ease of use for site visitors and great content were some of the criteria judges from The Good Web Guide (GWG) looked for when judging entries.

The awards provided entrants from schools, universities, charities, insurance companies and household names the chance to present their website in front of online and digital experts, and have been running for over a decade often leading to greater success for the organisations.

On awarding Cherry Trees website with a Highly Commended rating, Arabella Dymoke from The Good Web Guide said;

‘Of the highly commended entries, you can see the passion behind these websites, the people driving them forwards and with the layout of Cherry Trees’ website, it’s simple and easy to understand. Most importantly it holds the visitor’s attention. The minute you land on the homepage, you’re drawn into the site by the use of bright colours and sharp images and the stories behind them.’

Jill Cook Head of Fundraising at Cherry Trees has driven the new look website and said; ‘I’m really pleased we put the site forwards, garnering a commendation because a lot of work went into improving and then launching the site, with better navigation and overall feel of who we are as a charity. Since launching the new look site in October 2017 we have seen increased take-up of our Cherry Champion regular giving campaign which shows the power of a good website.’

The GWG is an alternative to search engines providing detailed reviews and web-related features, and are the hosts of Website of The Year Awards making them an authority on all that is great about the web.
