We are currently recruiting a full-time Care Worker to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. The role is integral to enabling our young people to take part in positive experiences; both at Cherry Trees and the community, helping them to develop their independence skills and providing outstanding care throughout their stay.

The hours of work include shift work; 7.am-2.15pm, 1.45pm-9pm, weekend shifts (2 out of 3 weekends) and on calls (once per fortnight). Cherry Trees has set closure periods throughout the year, which include Christmas. Care staff take the majority of leave during these periods, in addition 4-5 days leave can be taken throughout the year.

Ideally you will have a Residential Childcare Diploma/NVQ Level 3 Children and Young people or equivalent however applicants without the diploma will be considered.The diploma (or equivalent) must be achieved within 2 years of employment.
