Our dedicated fundraising team deliver over 40% of the income needed each year by Cherry Trees and we need to grow this in the future. We are now seeking an engaging and empathetic Community Fundraising & Inclusion Lead to deliver both fundraising through local communities as well as inclusion activity to support our charitable work and ethos.

Embedded in our friendly team, you will have previous experience (or transferable skills) to nurture and cultivate Community and Inclusion relationships to support generation of charitable funds.  The role will involve travel across Surrey to engage with schools, churches, community groups, clubs, societies and other community organisations and individuals. Therefore you will need access to a car. In addition you will work with other team members to support relevant community events.

The successful candidate will need good organisational and computer skills but most importantly have a passion for building a more inclusive society. You will be creative, flexible and have a natural flair for delivery of the highest standards of relationship building and stewardship.  This role will require occasional evening and weekend working, for which time off in lieu will be given.

Hours: Part time 3-4 days per week (22.5 – 30.0 hours per week)

salary: £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata (Based on 37.5 hours)

Holiday: 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays (pro rata)
