My name's Abbi and I AM NOT a runner! In the past, if you had suggested that I run 13.1 miles in one go I would have laughed you right out the front door. However, working at Cherry Trees has really given me the kick up the backside I needed to challenge myself and give it a go. The children that come to Cherry Trees face much bigger challenges every day, and they have inspired me to step outside of my comfort zone. At Cherry Trees, the staff live and work by the motto "Child first, disability second", which means that the children that come here are able to forget about their disabilities and just be children. This is so important to the children, as it enables them to grow, laugh, play and enjoy themselves just like any other child. It is such a brilliant and important cause, and any donation you make will have a significant impact to the lives of the children. Thank you, and here's hoping I make it across the finish line!!
