Duncan Hicks

Hi, my name's Duncan. I’m a beef farmer from Dunsfold. I’m friends with Emily Cross, who has an awesome son that visits Cherry Trees.  I jumped at the chance, when I saw another opportunity, to help raise some funds for the charity that helps so many people and children.

Cherry Trees is a respite home for children with disabilities offering specialised 24-hour care 7 days a week for children aged 0-19 years old. It gives families the much-needed break they so richly deserve.  Cherry Trees is unique as it genuinely offers a home from home environment and care. Every child loves to go, be it for a tea visit or an overnight sleepover with friends.

I know one of the kids that uses Cherry Trees, he's an awesome lad and loves it there. As with most charities, they rely on funds raised to ensure they can continue to provide this service and level of care.

I am running this half marathon to help Cherry Trees.  Please help with as much or little as you can spare. It will all make a difference.
