Fundraising Assistant £20,000 plus training allowance

Cherry Trees provides vital short-break respite care for children with complex disabilities, at our dedicated site in the beautiful village of East Clandon, 6 miles from Guildford.  The children have a fun time and their siblings and parents are able to have a short break from their caring responsibilities. This makes families much more resilient. We are proud that we remained open for our families and children throughout the pandemic.

Our dedicated fundraising team deliver over 40% of the income needed each year by Cherry Trees. We are now seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising Assistant to work alongside our team members, learning about all aspects of fundraising and income generation and making a real contribution from day one. You will focus on delivery of digital materials to support team-wide projects, implement our donor development plan and support delivery of our external Events programme. You will also help provide excellent Supporter Care.

The successful candidate will need strong organisational skills with good attention to detail. You will also need to be creative and flexible and have a natural flair for delivery of the highest standards of Supporter Care.

There will be the opportunity to apply for support with a professional training qualification, after satisfactory completion of probation.  The Job Description can be viewed here.
