Cherry Trees are really excited to have teamed up with Young's Pubs again this year with a 'Cherry Trees Dessert' being added to Summer Menus across Surrey.
For every dessert sold 50p will be donated to support the invaluable work of Cherry Trees.
What we do
Cherry Trees provides home from home care for children with complex disabilities and a meaningful break for their families, all across Surrey and the surrounding counties.
Last year, Cherry Trees provided a lifeline to 75 families by providing 1,512 sleepovers and 603 tea or day visits. On top of this core care, we ran five parent and staff wellbeing days, and provided small but vital financial grants through our bursary and welfare funds. These additional services ensure our families receive the physical, emotional and financial support they need.
Providing this lifeline costs £1.3m a year. This is part funded by the local authority but costs, on average, an additional £4.25 per hour of care.
