Paula’s passion and desire to work with children stemmed from a very young age. Focussed and determined, her educational pathway was laid to ensure she could achieve her dream of working with children and young adults with disabilities. Fresh out of college back in 1989, she secured her first post as a care assistant at Cherry Trees. She has since worked in every care position at Cherry Trees, from care assistant all the way through to manager, so her wealth of hands on experience can only compliment her ability to manage and lead the care team. She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management and is the designated safeguard lead.

Paula exemplifies Cherry Trees’ ethos of ‘child first, disability second’. Her ambition and focus is to ensure every child has the opportunity and support to be the best version of themselves.
